We talk a lot about Valley being family.  And we really, really are.  Since I was a kid, I’ve been in a lot of different churches (one of the joys of being a PK), and I can honestly say that Valley operates more like a family than any other church I’ve been a part of, and that’s such a wonderful thing.  That means, though, that just like in a traditional family, there are seasons of extreme busy-ness.  This is one of those seasons for us.

So I, on behalf of all the staff and leadership at Valley, wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all that you do to make Valley the family that it is.  Every time we ask you to help, whether it’s donating clothes for a goodwill drive, hosting the kids from a visiting children’s choir, or giving financially every single week, you step up to the plate in a big way.  Case in point:

You guys are awesome, and as a staff, we are so grateful for the many, many ways you step up and make this Kingdom work go smoothly.  We love you!  It is such a privilege to serve alongside you.

“Thou shalt not murder.”  This is one, even when I read it, I think in my mind, “Well, that’s one I don’t have to worry about!”   I’m sure you’re not out planning to off someone, or even tempted to do it, either.  But, that doesn’t mean we just sail right over this law.  Join us as we see that God has something important to share with us about grace-giving here.
